  • Blair Shein was quoted in the Sun Sentinel newspaper September 18, 2012 in an article titled “Retiring? First, save eight years’ salary”.
  • Blair Shein was quoted in the Sun Sentinel newspaper August 12, 2012 in an article titled “A debt-free retirement? Not for all”.
  • The fourth edition of Jay Shein’s book, Investment Planning Answer Book, 2012 edition, was published in July 2012 by CCH, Inc.
  • Jay Shein was published by CCH in the June 2012 edition of Estate Planning Review – The Journal.  The paper was titled “Returns Based Style Analysis: A Valuable Analytical Tool”.
  • Blair Shein was the guest speaker at the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) May 15, 2012 in Delray Beach, Florida and May 16, 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  His topic was Behavioral Finance.
  • Blair Shein was quoted in the Sun Sentinel newspaper May 1, 2012 on the subject of retirement savings.
  • Jay Shein was published by CCH in the April 2012 edition of Estate Planning Review – The Journal.  The paper was titled “Asset Allocation Decisions in a Tax Aware Environment”.
  • Blair Shein was the guest speaker at the Financial Planning Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale on March 15, 2012.  His topic was Behavioral Finance.
  • In 2012, Blair Shein served as an instructor at Florida Atlantic University where he taught an investments class in the Chartered Financial Analyst Review Program.

  • Jay Shein was published in the January/February 2012 edition of Investments & Wealth Monitor.  The paper was titled “Fusion Analysis: Investment Methods Combined”.
  • Jay Shein was a guest speaker/panelist at the 6th annual Inside ETFs Conference in January, 2012.
  • Blair Shein was featured in the December 2011 issue of the Exchange Traded Funds Report (ETFR) on the topic of specific emerging market investments.
  • Jay Shein had a paper titled “The Qualitative Side of Investment Manager Search and Selection” published in the December 2011 edition of the Estate Planning Review – The Journal.
  • In December 2011, Blair Shein provided a continuing education presentation to a group of accountants at a South Florida accounting firm.  His presentation was on Options and Derivative investment vehicles.
  • The third edition of Jay Shein’s book, Investment Planning Answer Book, 2011 edition, was published in July 2011, by CCH, Inc.
  • Jay Shein had a paper titled “Fusion Analysis: Combining Investment Disciplines” published in the August 2011 edition of the Estate Planning Review – The Journal.
  • Blair Shein was interviewed and published in the May/June, 2011 issue of the Journal of Indexes. The Journal of Indexes recently interviewed a group of respected academics and financial advisors for this article.
  • Jay Shein had a paper titled “An Introduction to Value at Risk (VaR): A Valuable Measure of Downside Risk” published in the April 2011 edition of the Estate Planning Review – The Journal.
  • Jay and Blair Shein completed the Global Investment Risk Management Program at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England in April, 2011. The advanced curriculum included such subjects as Exchange Rate Theory, the Carry Trade, International Asset Allocation, International Tax Planning, Exchange Rate Forecasting, Sovereign Risk & Investment Decisions, and Using Data to Forecast Equity Returns.
  • Blair Shein was a speaker at the 4th Annual Inside ETFs national conference on February 8, 2011. The subject of his presentation was “Accessing Uncorrelated Returns: The Hunt for Alpha”.
  • Jay Shein had a paper titled “Retirement Planning With Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) – Valuable or Problematic?” published in the January 2011 edition of the Estate Planning Review – The Journal.
